BUSTED: Feds Arrest Corrupt Virginia Dem — and Her Family Members, Too

Virginia State Sen. Louise Lucas and various family members are in federal custody today, up on charges of racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy with intent to distribute marijuana, conspiracy to launder money, conspiracy to commit audit services fraud, and maintaining a drug-involved premises.

In addition to representing the people of the 18th Senate district, Lucas is also president pro tempore, so the first question you might ask about all those charges is where she found the time.

Silly article writer--she didn't do the work in the district, she had aides do that stuff. If you read the article, she seemed absolutely focused on doing anything to make enough money for herself. Was she hoping to imitate Kanye West's gold-plated toilets?

I really feel sorry for Jewish people who aren't allowed to help their desired candidates as a group: AIPAC Will End Candidate Endorsements and PAC Contributions.

I understand the PAC only was launched in 2021, but every antisemitic club member went after them with a vengeance. These are Americans who want to support their preferred candidates, but apparently even the hint of that happening makes insane people freak out.

Wait, what? Kamala Just Revealed That She's Running for President in 2028, but the argument is made solely based on her tone of voice. 

Um, wow. That's not a real solid case to base this headline on, Margolis. New PAC? Sure. Submitting papers to states? Absolutely. Road testing a new accent? That's a bit of a stretch.

The truth came out in a committee meeting in Olympia WA on how they plan to implement the "millionaires" tax and avoid prohibition in the State Constitution against unequal taxes.

It is going to be implemented as a tax on everyone, just with a million dollar exemption.

That will clear the State Supreme Court to rule it Constitutional. Then in future they just reduce the exemption.

Meanwhile the Buckeye Institute published a study that shows that every dollar increase in taxes cost 2.50 in economic output.

State spending deficit is growing from 1.5 Billion to over 5 Billion annual. Job loses are accelerating.

It looks like the published proof of concepts for the PHP hack are cheating; they would not work in most real-world cases.

That doesn't mean there are no unpublished attacks that will work, as the article says.
