Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 1: Nice play on words. A couple of years ago, we had a really big "murder of crows" out back of the apartment. Literally hundreds of crows, all over the rooftops of the nearby buildings and in the trees. Impressive as all get out---and one could readily see how a crowd of crows of that size could easily strip a field of its crops in a very short time. Made one wonder how effective the scarecrows that used to be posted in farm fields actually were/are.

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 1: While back and a murder in my back yard, crows making a huge racket. One of them was caught in the fence. Went out and freed the crow. They moved on.

U.S. Citizenship Official Was Selling Green Cards Said individual has now been charged and will see a courtroom in Texas. The DOJ says it has possession of WhatsApp communications, including hundreds of calls and thousands of text messages involving not only Somoye and Ganiyu but also individuals who were allegedly paying them to manipulate the process. If convicted, Ganiyu and Somoye could each face up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000. They made their first court appearances on September 2.

About to try for lights out before 9:30 PM, I am beat. I’ve been taking care of my son for the last couple days who has the flu. Things got a little nerve-racking when he ran a fever of 104 yesterday. But he’s much better today.
