After yesterday's announcement of the 6-3 decision to disallow gerrymandering on conditions of race in most cases, has the protection been increased on our Supreme Court justices? Given the loud talk of Democrats wanting to pack the court, it would not surprise me if there is chatter of killing one or more conservative-leaning justices now serving.

i’ve been thinking the same thing. Unfortunately we are at the place where conservative justices will require nearly presidential level protection. The incentives for the crazy life to murder these people are just too great, and the crazy left is only getting crazier.

The Destructive Impulse of Liberalism A little background on Mamet, he of the oft-quoted "In order to continue advancing their illogical arguments, modern liberals have to pretend not to know things." It explains how he stepped past autonomic Democratism and actually started thinking for himself.

From the Soviet of Washington. Scoop: Governor sign-off rule snarls flow of information in Washington A new requirement that Gov. Bob Ferguson's office approve most state agency press releases and media responses is delaying information from reaching the public, drawing repeated concerns from state officials, records obtained by Axios show.

My “position” in that earlier post was simply that these police officers deserve praise for talking that guy off the bridge. I don’t think I need data to support that?

No, but I can't help thinking Democrat policies create misery, and the video did show he was in what looked like a larger town, and my brain went to why he was trying to commit suicide, and what caused it, and how we remove those first causes. And because Democrats really seem to have a desire for more death, I made the leap. I freely admit it was a leap, but it sounded rational in my head.

I read earlier today that a number of colleges are considering closing, due to the recent large drops in enrollment. Some enterprising politicians should vocally embrace this, and make moves towards taking over the campuses. Everybody's yapping lately about "affordable housing" and "housing for homeless/unhoused." Fine---these colleges already have dormitories, which could solve whatever "housing crisis for the unhoused" actually exists without having to build a thing, not to mention related facililties like dining halls.
