The one-party state of New Mexico, with Democrat majorities in theHouse and Senate and a Democrat governor, was the first to passlegislation and have it signed into law that bans military or armedfederal agents from polling places and ballot drop box locations. One of the lesser known woke governors in the country, and one of the more extreme ones, Michelle Lujan Grisham, signed into law SB 264, which establishes penalties for “those who deploy troops or armed federal agents to a polling place or drop box site.” What are they afraid of? We know. I mean, according to Google, USC 592 already bans sending armed forces into polling places, so these laws are duplicating existing law, just on a local level. But I'd like to know what the federal government can do against these laws. Who has standing besides the federal government?

Reply to vxbush in 1: It is at one level pure virtue signalling. State laws on Federal Immigration, since immigration is a Federally Enumerated Power and the supremacy clause kicks in. Validly this time.
