Big snowstorm coming, so I went to get gas for the snowblower and found we were low on pet-safe ice melt.

Local hardware store closed on Mondays; their main store was open. No petsafe stuff to be seen. 

I asked - "We're just unloading it from the truck"

I got there at the exact time - earlier, I would have had to return.

BTW, we know how to deal with leftie-overs. Send them to Siberia.

That is, we froze most of the turkey leftovers so we can enjoy them over the next year instead of stuffing ourselves.

We just made enough so we could have food for Thursday and Friday. Worked out perfectly.

WA State just had the largest tax increase in history. By some miracle of Keynesian economics, they are looking at a $16 Billion shortfall.

The solution? A State income tax on the wealthy. That would be unconstitutional under the WA.

Could state income tax become a reality for some Washingtonians?

Russia had an oppsy at their launch facility.

Russian launch pad damaged after launch of NASA astronaut, 2 others to ISS

Under the rocket is a service platform, that retracts for launch. It got blown into the flame trench. Now they can't launch to the ISS, and a lot of their missions use this pad.
