Happy Father’s Day to all here, as applicable

I was meant to be having dinner with my dad up in New York this evening. But I’ve had a nasty summer cold weighing me down these last few days, the most fun feature of which is a recurrent cough that keeps me awake until three or four in the morning. So when I woke up this morning, I thought, no way am I doing that drive today. I’ve got some good drugs now so hopefully tonight will be more peaceful and tomorrow will be better.
