Several people have posted comments along the lines of yours, thinking that the brouhaha about the records is being intentionally inflamed by people and groups that want to separate Trump from the MAGA supporters. The Mossad angle would fit in nicely with leftists' goals. The idea that Israel would be using a US asset to control US politicians and deep staters is ridiculous; our own intelligence agencies would rather have power and control.
