Epstein's guards turned down a plea deal

I don't think the deal was offered so the guards would flip on their superiors. I think it was intended to shut them up. The fact that they turned it down leads me to believe they don't want to take the fall for whoever arranged Epstein's "suicide."

Careful, guards, or you might get suicided too...

Hard to tell whether Epstein committed suicide or not. There is nothing that blatantly contradicts it or that proves he did.

Many people contemplating suicide seem to be recovering just before they do so, because they have made the decision.

And he was facing a life sentence in prison, as the lowest of the low, after living in luxury. He'd be the wife of any other prisoner who wanted to show some power.

And there are those in power who wanted to keep him quiet, so it could go either way - just something that probably will never be cleared up.

Too bad there's no one who overheard someone talking about what happened on the phone...then we'd have our proof!

It just did not have a believable tail.

When the dog tried to tell the tail/tale, he would paws too often.

I don't think it's so much that his tail in unbelievable as it is that perpetual look of guilt.  Ever ask a dog "what did you do?"  That look they give you is at good as an admission of guilt.  You can shame a dog, but you can't shame a liberal.  At least the dog knows he's done something bad.

Leftists believe conservatives are evil, and whatever they do - even if it is the same thing as conservatives - is good.

They have their basis of good and evil on theories they have learned, which is why Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, etc can kill millions but be considered good, and Israel killing an active terrorist is bad.

There are few true liberals left. Dershowitz is one, and he was ostracized for supporting the rule of law when it comes to Trump. To leftists, that means supporting Trump.

Reply to Kosh's Shadow in 14: I agree with what you are saying.  Fact is, I consider myself a liberal, but I don't think it means what "they" think it means.  Everyone is entitled to the right to live free, until it infringes on other peoples' rights.  That's why we have laws, but they need to be reasonable and apply to all.  As an example, I hate smoking and think no one should do it.  I can explain why and try to convince someone else why they shouldn't, but ultimately the choice is theirs.  They can still smoke, just not in my house or car!  I can still choose whether or not to go to their home.  Side note - I'm a former smoker, so I know people can change.  Just because I believe something, doesn't mean others have to live by my rules.  Don't know if any of this makes any sense...

My mother would often end an argument with "we'll just have to agree to disagree".  At least it would stop the fighting.

The jailhouse comedian visited Epstein in his cell.  Prisoners in nearby cells overheard Epstein saying, "Stop---you're killing me!"
