In today's inversion example: Jewish Professor Calls Hamas Terrorists 'Murderers.' USC Bans Him From Teaching on Campus

Public education and so-called "higher education" are indoctrination mills. If a student asked me about college now, I would strongly recommend they stay away unless it is a very conservative college that doesn't accept federal aid.

Christmas is a time for joy and peace, right? And yet the Bidens continue to be an ugly demonstration of ugly people, continuing to ignore Hunter Biden's daughter born out of wedlock. Last year they didn't have a stocking for her on their chimney. This year, they completely dropped stockings from the decorations, despite using the poem "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" as their theme. Oh, they are claiming they are going to be placed at Camp David, surely so they can put up only the stockings they want without others noticing.

This level of vindictiveness is just horrid.

The Left has decided that October 7 is the perfect excuse for pushing to...  normalize Hamas.

Yes, the idea that a murderous cult is somehow superior and more justified than Israel all boils down to Marxist Critical Race Theory. Israel is always the oppressor and should be subverted, while Hamas is righteous and good as the oppressed.

The inversion is evil.

The current situation reminds me of my idea from some years back (a variation on one proposed by buzz) for how the IDF could bloodlessly clear the islamists out of Gaza. They should bombard the Strip not with explosive shells, but with pork-filled dumplings, causing a mass reaction of "eww, haram!" among the jihad boys, and prompting them to flee. The cost angle would also be favorable; these "specialty munitions" could be acquired cheaply and plentifully from Tel Aviv-area Chinese restaurants.

Of course, the "international community" would no doubt promptly denounce the Israelis for their "wonton attacks on Palestinian civilians."

FWIW, here is a BBC analysis of how the October 7 Hamas attack was allegedly planned... more or less "in plain sight".

Picked up an influenza A bug over the weekend.

This thing is making covid seem like a walk in the part.

Making a cup of tea is exhausting!

I'll have to read that later. I'm very curious how this attack was planned with no one any the wiser.

The main takeaway on that seems to be:

Hugh Lovatt, a Middle East analyst at the European Council on Foreign Relations, said Israel would have been aware of the joint training drills but "reached the wrong conclusion", assessing they amounted to the "standard" activity of paramilitary groups in the Palestinian territories, rather than being "indicative of a looming large-scale attack".

I will not comment, so as to spare you the ribbing that would ensue
