Do you wear puttees when you putter?

If you needed any confirmation that the BLM crowd were anti-Israel, and pro-"Palestinian," seek no further.   This segment from today's Morning Sedition practically crows about it.

The segment is rife with historical distortions and omissions---it speaks of Malcolm X talking about "Palestinians in refugee camps" at a time when they were barely beginning to call themselves "Palestinians," and were under Egyptian and Jordanian rule, for instance---and does not mention that noted Jew-hater Stokely Carmichael was running SNCC at the time that that organization condemned Israel, nor does it mention that King denounced the Jew-hate and the anti-Israel sentiments that were spreading in the Civil Rights Movement shortly before he was murdered.  And, of course, it does not mention the popularity in the 1960s of Frantz Fanon's writings about "colonialism," which were embraced by the black-power radicals in the mid-60s and which caused them to make common cause with the PLO when it was formed in 1964, i.e., three years prior to the Six-Day War and any Israeli "occupation of territories."

I wouldn't be surprised to find some Soviet (KGB) influence here, especially since they helped set up the PLO. That is still part of the black power movement, of which BLM is the latest manifestation.

BTW, OR---a gallery in Chicago that has been sending me emails claims to have a number of "limited-edition prints" of some of Mauldin's drawings which appeared in "Up Front."  I'd assume that these were prints Mauldin later made of the wartime images, but if you are interested I'll forward you the contact info.

I'm dying laughing......

Ya'll remember Sideshow Jay Carney, Obama's Press Secretary?

He's at Amazon senior vice president, Amazon Global Corporate Affairs

He wrote an article, the headline was enough, the depth of the Irony this tool who's made a career of lying in just the headline is beyond any attempts parody or saterize.

The ripple effect of Amazon’s $15-an-hour starting wage is fueling a rising tide of progress

The lack of self awareness to even change wording is astounding.

The left has spent decades trashing Reagan's policies, lambasting "trickle down" economics.

Now Sideshow Jay fully embraces it.

Little OR just made some art for art class in K, the face of an alligator.

He opined, "but this isn't really art, because anybody could do it.

Me: After class, we'll talk about a guy named Jackson Pollock.

It shits all over the men buried in Normandy, Arlington, etc., saying that there were the spoiled thugs of Antifa.  It's just appalling.

Especially since antifa and BLM are much closer to Nazi brownshirts than our soldiers fighting to defeat them.

BTW, Biden did not commemorate D-Day

He went to Arlington.

But instead of placing the wreath, it was pre-placed and he shuffled up and placed a hand on it.

Basing what I said on this article

The source told Fox News the fact that Vice President Harris tweeted about D-Day while Biden tweeted about the 1921 Tulsa Massacre on Sunday clearly underscores the administration’s priorities. Roughly 2,500 Americans died on D-Day.

A search through the White House website and social media turns up only two tweets from Harris and first lady Jill Biden mentioning the day when U.S. soldiers stormed Normandy to liberate France from the Nazis, turning the tides in favor of the Allies during World War II. The day is typically honored by the American president.
